The map below highlights our current network that we can call upon.

sustainability

Sustainability is a complex issue. Our approach is to make sustainability understandable using plain language and stories that relate to your context. Often, we’re asked, What is sustainability? While we can give you any number of the standard definitions, our approach is to listen to our clients key issues and build the discussion from there, rather than trying to force our answer on them. At the end of our processes, clients understand what sustainability means for them, which is the best way to make relevant change.

Our approach to sustainability can be summed up in three key phrases look at the whole, think longer term and collaborate.

engagement

The Intelligent Futures team has a wealth of experience in engaging citizens, employees and any other group you’re trying to connect with. We develop processes that build trust and understanding with the ultimate objective of creating ownership and action. Properly designed and executed, engagement processes have real strategic value for communities and organizations alike.

organizational improvement

Our approach allows us to work within organizations to create clearer strategic direction, develop and improve organizational structures that improve performance and engage employees to build commitment to a broader vision. Often times, organizations get so busy putting out current fires that they don’t have the time to ask the simplest, but vital questions like: Where do we want to go? What’s the most effective structure to allow this to happen? How do we get there? How can everyone contribute? From strategic planning to organizational reviews, we can help you answer these questions.

development and training

With our deep understanding of sustainability, diverse experience and background in teaching and training, the Intelligent Futures team is able to communicate sustainability in ways that are approachable and understandable for our audience. Examples of training and development workshops we can deliver include:
