As the Principal responsible for operations, Cassandra leads the Intelligent Futures team in the delivery of projects and provides leadership to clients on an incredibly diverse range of change processes. An empathic listener, she has the ability to put people at ease, encouraging them to hear and be heard. In the first decade of her career, Cassandra received the Canadian Institute of Planners President’s Award for Young Planners in recognition of her work in community building.

Making systems and civic involvement more accessible to a broader cross-section of society, emphasizing youth engagement and advocacy. I hope to prepare young people to navigate through societal issues and tackle the complex problems of their generation.
One of the greatest opportunities is when individuals get to hear perspectives from their colleagues, neighbours and/or peers that differ from their own. Seeing their face in that Aha! moment where they realize - “Hey, my solution or idea might not work for everyone.” It’s magical!
